When you need to control the parameters

The KPIs in TOUCHGUARD serve as an additional function to automatically evaluate what is really important in the operation. It helps to monitor whether the required activities have been completed, whether limits have been exceeded or whether exactly what you expect has happened in the reporting period.

Why deploy KPIs in operations

The function is suitable for security agencies, manufacturing companies, facility operations and service teams that need to evaluate defined parameters automatically and without depending on manual data tracking.

1. Less manual work

The system continuously evaluates the compliance with the set rules and reduces the daily manual control that delays the control room and management.

2. Precise evaluation conditions

KPIs can be linked to specific events and further refined with conditions to track exactly what is relevant to the facility, customer or operation.

3. Immediate status overview

You can monitor the status and performance of KPIs in the web app and on mobile terminals, so important information remains available in the field.

4. Stronger basis for reporting

KPIs are based on actual events recorded in the system and therefore provide a more reliable basis for internal control and communication with the customer.

How KPIs work in TOUCHGUARD

KPIs evaluate performance over selected system events. You can track minimum and maximum values, tie KPIs to a specific time interval, and evaluate rules exactly by time or by the minimum reached, depending on the type of use.

This means that the system can monitor, for example, the required number of errands per shift, the maximum number of errors in an errand per week, the number of incidents per month, or the performance of regular inspections, servicing and other repetitive tasks.

What you can set

  • Name and basic parameters of the KPI
  • Life cycle type by time or minimum
  • Minimum and maximum values
  • Time repetition and cycle length
  • Promotion to multiple locations
  • Select one or more monitored events
  • Specifying conditions for each selected event

Overview on the web

Active KPIs can be tracked in system reports, filtered and sorted as needed. This facilitates the work of dispatching, shift supervisors and management.

KPI even in the mobile terminal

KPIs can also be displayed on mobile terminals. The operator can thus have an overview of the monitored indicators directly in the field, without having to return to the web application.

Get instant usable output from your operational data

KPI extends TOUCHGUARD with an automatic evaluation layer. Instead of a manual check, you get clearly set rules, a continuous overview of the status and the basis for faster reactions and better communication with the customer.

We will show you how to set up KPIs for your specific operation.

Frequently asked questions

Can KPIs be linked to multiple events at the same time?

Yes. Multiple events can be selected within a single KPI and their counts can be added together. In addition, specific conditions can be set for each event.

Can KPIs be tracked outside the web application?

Yes. The status of KPIs and their performance can also be displayed on mobile terminals, so the overview is not limited to the office or the control room.

How to get a sample solution?

Just contact us and we will be happy to present you with a solution according to your type of operation.

Is the KPI suitable for operations other than security services?

Yes. The function is useful wherever you need to automatically evaluate operational or customer requirements over recorded events, for example in production, facility management or service teams.

What exactly does the KPI in TOUCHGUARD monitor?

The KPI monitors the performance of defined parameters over selected TOUCHGUARD system events. These can be, for example, event counts, thresholds, periodic activities or the fulfilment of specific operating conditions.
